A epic feature film on the famous"Apostle of Rome" and amazing friend of youth at the 16th century. Perhaps one of the most popular saints of alltime, St. Philip Neri was widely known for his great charity, profound prayer life, and enormous humor. Expecting to join St. Ignatius of Loyola's new arrangement of Jesuits and be described as a missionary to India, Philip was as an alternative directed by Providence to search the poor and abandoned youth of Rome to catechize them at the faith and help them find a better life. He became the creator of their religious leader, the Oratory, that labored to re-evangelize a decadent Rome and worked with the youth.
