Joachim is 25 years of age. The daily battle as he struggles to manage a heroin dependence he struggles within himself is veiled by his charming smile. He tries to stop every other and smokes everyday. He hates the medication but it removes his pain. His isolation. After years locked in a cycle of abuse, Joachim is on the brink of a breakdown. He receives a strange call from his exgirlfriend. Sheis concerned in their kid, Lukas and's been detained. Lukas hasn't been seen by joachim since he was created, and she begs until she's released Joachim to take care of Lukas. Without much of a choice and believing it will just be for a few hours, Joachim agrees. To their surprise Joachim would like to maintain Lukas. He's grounds to become the person he believes he could be a man that is responsible. A man that is sober. A dad.
