Everything Is Cinema
Chris, a young filmmaker from Kerala who works on his own, is moved by Louis Malle's 1969 documentary Calcutta and wants to make a modern version of it himself. He and his wife Anita, who is also an actress, move to Kolkata so that he can work on his documentary there. While the documentary is already being made, there is an outbreak of the Corona virus in India, and his producer keeps the money that he had agreed to give him earlier. As the lockdown begins, Chris and Anita are stuck inside the rented apartment in Kolkata. Chris decides to make a movie about his own marriage, without telling Anita, to let out all of his pent-up anger.
