Ivan the Terrible, Part I

Sergei Eisenstein film, this is the first section of a bio pic of Czar Ivan Grozny, which was never completed due back to manufacturer contrasts with Eisenstein's attempts to use experimental filming methods along with cost over runs. The next part was completed but not published after a change of heart and Eisenstein's death for 10 years at the administration toward his job. The part was just in its first period of filming when shooting was stopped. As he attempts to combine with the men and women During this first section Ivan faces betrayal against the aristocracy and even his friends.
