Kirikou and the Wild Beasts

The film is a sub-story into Kirikou and the Sorceress rather than a direct sequel. While Kirikou is still a kid the movie is set and Karaba is still a sorceress. Much like Princes et princesses and Les Contes de la nuit, it's an anthology film comprising several stories that are episodic, every one of them describing the interactions of Kirikou having a critters that are different. It's nevertheless unique among Michel Ocelot's films, not just in that it is co-directed by Bénédicte Galup (who's previously worked with him as a animator) also for every one of those stories being published by someone different (in the other situations, Ocelot has become the only real writer and manager of his films).
