The Love Bug

The film opens with narration by Jim Douglas and"memory" clips from the first film. The narration finishes saying Herbie is now owned by an haughty Scotsman named Simon Moore III (John Hannah), that abuses and insults Herbie before Herbie comes last at a hurry, maybe not wanting to comply Simon. Simon sends Herbie into the Junk Yard. Meanwhile, Hank Cooper (Bruce Campbell), a mechanic in a small garage, is told to put in a race and persuaded to acquire Herbie. The judges will be Donny Shotz (Micky Dolenz), a car enthusiast. Alex (Alexandra Wentworth), an old fire of Hank's. and Simon. Alex questions Hank After Herbie and Hank have won the race, and he gives her a ride, wherein Herbie chooses them . Meanwhile, Simon finds the engineer who created Herbie: Dr. Gustav Stumpful (Harold Gould), also asks a second for example car: a wicked, black variant, whom Simon titles Horace.
