The Lucy Show
The Lucy Show is an American sitcom that aired on CBS in 1962--68. It was Lucille Ball's followup to I Love Lucy. A shift in cast and premise for the 1965--66 interval divides the application into two different eras. Aside from Ball, just Gale Gordon, who joined the program remained. For the first few seasons, Vivian Vance had been the co-star.
The first scripts were entitled The Lucille Ball Show, however producers looked at calling the show this really is the New Adventures of Lucy or Lucy, before deciding on the title The Lucy Show if this title was declined. Ball won Emmy Awards as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for the series' final two seasons, 1966--6 7 and 1967--68.
