America: The Story of Us is just a six-part, 12hour documentary-drama television mini series that premiered on History station, on April 25, 2010. The program portrays over 400 years of history. It crosses time by the successful English settlement of Jamestown beginning in 1607, right through to the current day. Narrated by Liev Schreiber, many historical events are recreated by the show by using actors dressed in the kind of special effects and the time scale. The mini series received mixed reviews by critics. But it brought the largest audiences of any special Led to date by the station.
