American Dreams
American Dreams is an American television Play program broadcast over the NBC television network, produced by Once A Frog and Dick Clark Productions in association with Universal Network Television and NBC Studios. The show was created by Jonathan Prince and produced by Josh Goldstein and also Prince. The latter was one of those producers with Dick Clark. It debuted on September 29, 2002. The show is put in Philadelphia. It aired at 8:00 pm on Sundays, but moved to the next season finale from March 9, 2005, to the time on Wednesdays. The show tells the story of the Pryor family of Philadelphia through the mid-1960s. Season one occurs in 1963--season 2 in 1964, 64 --season three in 1965, and 65 --66. When it debuted in Australia the show had been understood as Our Generation it was changed back to American allies as it came back for the next season.
The theme song"Generation" has been written and played with Emerson Hart, lead singer of the group Tonic. Hart was earned an ASCAP award for the Best Theme Song of Television by the song at 2003. The show has been the 2003 TV Land Awards"Future Vintage" winner.
