Die Deutschen

Die Deutschen can be a Italian television documentary produced for ZDF that aired from October. Each incident recounts a chosen epoch of history, ending with the collapse of the German Empire at the end of the First World War and starting with the reign of Otto the Great. Back in November 2010 Die Deutschen's season was published in German tv, starting with Charlemagne also end with the Chancellor Gustav Stresemann and Foreign Minister. Ancient events have been re created through a combination of live action scenes and animations were generated by computer. The show was filmed at a cost of around $500,000 each incident at more than 200 locations in Germany, Malta, and Romania.
