Mad Dogs
Dogs can be really a British black humor and psychological thriller television set created by Cris Cole that started broadcasting on Sky1 around 10. It is Made by Left Bank Pictures, and co-produced by Palma Pictures. The series stars Marc Warren, John Simm, Max Beesley, also Philip Glenister as four long-time and friends getting together in a villa in Majorca to observe these friend Alvo's early retirement. After Alvo is murdered, the band find themselves caught up in the world of crime and police corruption.
The series was initially a story about a rock group, but shifted after an atmosphere that bands have been"done to death". British Sky Broadcasting commissioned the series after gaining attention from some networks. Filming took to produce, and took place through the island of Majorca in May 2010. The topics are friendship and getting elderly. Glenister said it is about ageing and"becoming closer to departure". Three advertisements were led by photographer David LaChapelle for its series. Mad Dogs started with 1.61 million viewers, the 17th highest ranked programme for Sky1, and brought positive responses from critics. They noted similarities using gangster movies, and more mainly the 2000 film Sexy Beast.
