MTV Cribs
MTV Cribs and CMT Cribs, depending on which channel it succeeds, is just a franchise reality tv program that originated within the MTV Networks' MTV. It later aired on its CMT channel that features tours of celebrities' houses and mansions. September 2000 the show aired. Across the course of 1-3 seasons, Cribs had featured tours of the homes of more than 185 celebrities, musicians, actors, and athletes From 2005. Ananda Lewis narrated the show. It was developed by Nina L. Díaz, that moved onto produce My Super Sweet 16, additionally for MTV.
The re-played and most watched bout of Cribs was a special edition touring mariah-carey's New York penthouse. In 2005/2006, MTV Canada produced a run of Canadian-made Cribs episodes.
A brand new season of Cribs, filmed in high definition, started using onscreen images, name sequences, and a brand new arrangement in August 2007. Pak also voices the show. Even a'Priciest Pads' special is made to kick off the new season, sponsored by Kimora Lee Simmons.
The show was put in to syndication in September 2007, to be made available from local tv stations on a weekday basis while inside the United States by Litton Entertainment. Nevertheless, this program's Litton versions were badly edited and changed. Any references to MTV were phased out, and also this system received a brand new logo referring to it as just Cribs, while all music which was played in the episodes has been substituted by production music in order to avoid royalty fees. Even though Lewis and Pak were listed in the episode credits because narrators, all narration was stripped in the re-edited episodes, also'coming up' sections were either silent or expressed by an uncredited announcer. The syndicated version was unsuccessful and offered in barter type, mainly on the stations in niches in time slots, also was removed by the market in September 2008.
