The dad of shinichi Kanou writes books and his mother illustrates video games, therefore it isn't unsurprising that he'd turn a fan of science fiction and comics out. However, rather than directing his efforts in creating like his parents, he has instead turned into one of the planet's foremost experts on"moe," by having an encyclopedic knowledge of all things cute and adorable in every imaginable type of animation and press. This explains the recruiting being an ambassador for moe of Shinichi a parallel world where things that previously existed anime exist, to the Holy Erudanto Kingdom!
