Robin of Sherwood

Robin of Sherwood, was a television Show, based on the legend of Robin Hood. Created by Richard Carpenter, it conducted in 1984 to 1986, and was produced by HTV in affiliation with Goldcrest. In the us it was retitled Robin Hood and displayed on PBS and on the top cable TV station Showtime. The show starred Michael Praed and Jason Connery as two different incarnations of their title character. Unlike adaptations of the Robin Hood legend, Robin of Sherwood combined a brand new, real creation design with elements of history, 20th century fiction, and pagan myth. The show is also notable because of its own unique name music by Clannad, which won a BAFTA awardwinning.
