Slacker Cats
Slacker Cats can be an animated ABC Family show that premiered on August 1-3, 2007. It was made out of Adobe Flash.
The show was marketed as a children's show, but in press kits delivered to the media and in later advertising, it was definitely indicated that the show included a more adult tone and subjects. The 10PM broadcast period of the show farther exemplified that its target was a grownup audience. This program was rated TV-14.
Slacker Cats was animated by Film Roman, the same company that animates The Simpsons and King of the Hill. It has the voice talents of Sinbad and comedians Harland Williams from the lead roles. It was made by Andy Riley and Kevin Cecil, who served as executive producers along with animation director Seth Kearsley, who designed the characters.
Slacker Cats was canceled after 6 events on September 17, 2007. A second season premiered on the ABC Family internet site on January 19, 2009, and, in accordance with its creators, will soon be released on Xbox Live Marketplace along with iTunes. The second season was called a continuation of this season, episodes 7 through 12.
