Something Special

Something Special is really a kids' tv programme broadcast and produced by the BBC. The manufacturer is before joining the BBC in 1989, Allan Johnston who worked with special needs. It is intended to introduce kids to signing, and is specifically targeted toward kids with communication difficulties and delayed learning. It's aired on the CBeebies channel and in the past was also broadcast as part of the CBeebies programme strand on BBC One and BBC Two). The name of the programme derives from the concept that many children are special. It's exhibited by Justin Fletcher and includes many characters and clips of children. Justin speaks as well as signing, and also there is a story provided over the clips of kiddies. The characters played by Justin are the Tumble Family: Mr Tumble, a grownup clown who displays Baby Tumble and communication difficulties, Grandad Tumble along with learning. Members of the Tumble family to own made appearances comprise two Aunts - both Lord Tumble and Suki, Polly and also King Tumble.
