Whoops Apocalypse
Whoops Apocalypse is a six-part 1982 sitcom from Andrew Marshall and David Renwick, made by London Weekend Television for ITV. Marshall and Renwick later reworked the style together with completely different plot and characters from ITC Entertainment, as a 1986 film of the same name, but one or two of the original actors returned in roles.
The show has a big cult crowd, and copies of videos are heavily desired. The British funding tag Channel 5 Video released a compilation tape of six episodes edited together into one 137-minute chunk in 1987.
Network DVD released the movie and complete, unedited show on a collection entitled Whoops Apocalypse: The Apocalypse. .
John Otway also recorded a song named"Whoops Apocalypse", that has been used as the theme song to that film. He performs it live.
