The plot of the movie is situated on the real story of a group of computer hackers. In the 1980s his legacy is invested by the orphaned Karl Koch in a home computer. At first he dials up to bulletin boards to talk conspiracy theories inspired with his favourite publication, R.A. Wilson's"Illuminatus", but he and his friend David start breaking into government and military computers. Pepe, one of Karl acquaintances perceptions that there is money in computer cracking - he tries to speak to the KGB and travels to Berlin.
