Elephants Dream

Elephants Fantasy is the story of just two strange characters researching a apparently infinite and capricious machine. The elder, Proog, functions as a tour guide and shield showing the sights and dangers of the system off to his initially inquisitive but increasingly doubtful protege E Mo. As their journey unfolds we discover signs that the system is not all Proog believes it is, along with his directing takes on a aspect. Elephants Fantasy can be a story concerning communication and fiction, made purposefully open ended as the world's first 3D animated"Open movie". The picture itself is published under the Creative Commons license, along with the entirety of these production files used to ensure it is (about 7 Gigabytes of data). The applications used to generate the movie could be your free/open source animation suite Blender alongside other open source applications allowing the movie to be remade, remixed and repurposed onto the DVD with the data as well as just a computer or downloading.
