The Black Sleep
In 19th century England, a brain surgeon rescues a former student from being chased on a certainty for murder, and spirits him away to an ancient, re purposed abbey far in the countryside. There, he connives his pupil in to assisting him mapping the purposes of the several regions of the human brain, using living issues who are under a terrible animation-suspending medication known as"black sleeping". Subsequently, the student, along with the daughter of one of those subjects, discover that most of these issues have endured but are now being retained in a dungeon-like basement, in various stages of derangement...
