The Forgiving
It's been five years since the devastating loss of Avi Brickman's daughter, who was eight years old at the time. Having lost his work, which had been a lifeline to his broken existence, he decides to take his own life in the house where it all began. In spite of this, he finds a mother and her small daughter sheltering in an isolated cottage in the woods. It takes him a long time to come to terms with his shame and pain, but he finally does so in the middle of a sleepless night.
