The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob

Inside this riot of disguises and mistaken identities, a blustering, Victor Pivert, bigoted mill owner, finds himself taken hostage an rebel leader, by Slimane. As they try to elude not only law enforcement, that think Pivert can be a murderer, but also assassins from the country of Slimane Both liven up as rabbis. Pivert ends up posing as Rabbi Jacob, a dear figure who's came back after 30 years in the United States to France due to his first trip. Contributing to the confusion would be Pivert's dentist-wife, that thinks her husband is leaving her for also a neighborhood full of people, and another woman, their daughter, who's about to get married.
