Paris, in the early 1960s. Jean Louis Joubert is a serious however up-tight stockbroker, married to a starchy class-conscious woman Suzanne and dad of two teenage boys that are arrogant , currently in a school. The wealthy man resides a life that is stable yet dull. At the very least until circumstances, Maria, the charming maid at the service of Jean Louis' family, makes him discover the servants' quarter over the sixth floor of the luxury building he owns and lives in. There is a crowd of Spanish maids who'll help Jean Louis to open to a new approach of life and a new civilization. Inside their company - and even more precisely in the company of beautiful Maria - Jean Louis will gradually grow to be a person that is far greater, another guy.
