Three Times

There are three stories of people: in"A Time for Love" place in 1966a soldier hunts for a young woman he met a day playing pool. "A Time for Freedom," set at a bordello at 1911, revolves round a singer's yearning to escape surroundings. At"A Time for Youth" set in 2005 Taipei, a triangle at that a singer has an affair with a photographer while her partner suffers is dramatized. In the first two stories, letters are all crucial to the outcome. At the third, it's cell phone calls, texts, and also a personal computer file. Over the past few years between the stories, as intimacy becomes more words and likely more free, communicating recedes.
