Bill Nye the Science Guy is an educational television system that originally aired from September 10, 1993 on June 20, 1998, sponsored by William"Bill" Nye and made by Buena Vista Television. The series aired on PBS Kids and was also syndicated to local channels. Each of those 100 episodes aims to instruct a particular topic in mathematics to a pre teen audience. The series is used in schools as an education medium, plus it airs on some PBS channels because of this. Created by comic Ross Shafer and based on sketches on app Almost Live! , Bill Nye the Science Guy was made by Disney Educational Productions and also KCTS-TV of Seattle. Bill Nye the Science Guy won Guy Emmy Awards during its run.
