The Krypton Factor
The Krypton Factor was a British game show. The show originally ran from 7 September 1977 to 20 November 1995, and has been hosted by Gordon Burns and usually broadcast on the ITV system at 19:00.
Contestants from across the uk and Ireland competed at a number of rounds which analyzed their physical stamina and mental attributes. The name of the show is a mention of Superman's home planet Krypton, the name perceiving that the contestants had strong superhuman"powers" for participate at the challenges they certainly were ever set. The contestants had their corresponding colour, yellow, green, either red or blue. They wore their clothes, aside from the Skill around where the contestants wore trail suits which were blue, green, yellow or crimson until 1989. The trail suits changed to black. To his or her clothes, the contestants wore perhaps a neckscarf of these corresponding shade, tie or a shirt/blouse. The things contestants earned through the game were not referred for their score, but because their"Krypton Factor", e.g."The winner, with a Krypton Factor of 46, may be the legal secretary from Kent, Mike Berry". The 1987 show won the Premio Ondas - Spanish Television Award for Entertainment.
