Tucker's Witch
Tucker's Witch can be actually a 12-episode comedy-detective show which aired on CBS television from October 6, 1982, to November 10, 1982, and again sporadically by March 31 to June 9, 1983. It starred Tim Matheson and 31-year-old Catherine Hicks being Amanda Tucker, Rick and a charming husband and wife, who own and operate their private detective service in Laurel Canyon in LosAngeles. Actress Kim Cattrall, who was in the pilot was replaced by hicks but was removed after the movie Porky's arrived and showed Cattrall scene in the fitness center from the series. Amanda's psychic powers turned into the asset in resolving instances but also often receive the pair in to various troubles although From the story line. In later rebroadcasts on the USA Network, the program was known as Laurel Canyon's Witch.
Catherine Hicks had previously been a soap opera actress on ABC's Ryan's Hope, and received an Emmy nomination for her 1980 operation as Marilyn Monroe in a ABC bio pic, and later proven to audiences for her role as Annie Camden, the reigning, discerning wife of this minister Eric Camden, played with Stephen Collins, in the Warner Brothers family show 7th Heaven. Matheson starred on Main Street along with also two show, NBC's The Virginian with James Drury along with ABC's The Quest with Kurt Russell, and in films, including Animal House. He was also this Jonny Quest cartoon character's voice.
